The marketplace has been redesigned and there are a few new things you need to know.
You can access the new market by going to the spawn (type /spawn) and walking through the market stargate which is on the left.
There are two areas to the new market: shop plots where you can build your own market stall and the item exchange. First I will cover the item exchange.
The Exchange
The exchange is designed to make finding the items you want to buy easy. It is laid out in categories (e.g. ingots & gemstones, mob drops and farming items) to make it quick to track down the items you want. Click on the buttons to teleport to the exchanges.
Once inside you will notice items are laid out in aisles like in a supermarket. Inside the gold aisle you can ONLY sell gold ingots as is said on the front of the aisle (the item id is also listed). This is shown in the picture below:
You are allowed to rent one chest per aisle where you can sell the item listed on the front. Right click on the sign next to the chest you want to rent and it will bring up more information on it (as shown above). Type '//rg rent time unit' to rent the shop. For example //rg rent 14 d will rent out the shop for 14 days. Simply typing //rg rent will rent the shop forever until you run out of money (right click the sign again and type //rg unrent to unrent manually). Be careful to empty the chest of items and delete your shop before the rent period runs out. The rent price is taken from your account once every week.
Once you own the region you can create your own chest shop inside. Remove the sign in front of the chest and hold shift to place it back on top of the chest. How to do this is outlined below:

The Market Plots
The market plots are not available for rent, only for buy, and look like the picture below:
Right click on the sign of the plot you want to buy and type '//rg buy' to gain ownership of the plot. You can then design your market however you desire and fill it with as many chest shops (how to make these is above in the exchange section) as you want.
How To Earn Money
To earn money you can vote for our server every day by clicking on the voting links on the left side of our main page. You earn $500 if you vote for all three of the sites. Make sure you enter your Minecraft name correctly and it is case sensitive!
You can also earn money by selling your items to other players at the item exchange. The tutorial for this is above.
We will also add a select few items to be sold to earn money at the new admin shop which will be added very shortly
